Obituary

Patricia Cochran Eudy, age 94, of Ayer, MA, formerly of Carrollton, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021, after her battle with the COVID virus. Pat was born in Walton County, Georgia, to Daisy and Walter Cochran. She met the love of her life, Clyde "Bud" Eudy, when she was in her early twenties attending Georgia State University, and after a brief courtship, they married and settled in Atlanta. Pat was a woman ahead of her time. She pursued a career in the construction and engineering field as an accountant and controller. She quickly became a leader in the company and industry, serving as a corporate officer, member of the board of directors and Chairman of the Atlanta Credit Association for the Construction Industry. Pat was most proud of mentoring women in the workplace during a time when women were not often afforded the opportunity of career advancement. Pat and Bud led a life filled with love for each other, travel, and adventure. They loved gardening and were known for the beautiful yards at their homes. While they did not have children of their own, they both loved, adored, and spoiled the many nieces and nephews that they shared. They also both gave of themselves to many charitable organizations. They especially loved working with the young children of Christian City. After Bud's death, Pat settled in Carrollton, GA, where she was active in her church and the Carroll County Senior Center. Pat was a dedicated volunteer for many years at Tanner Hospital. Pat celebrated her 90th birthday with her many friends at her home community of Carrollton Club Senior Living. In 2018, Pat relocated to Ayer, MA, to be close to her niece, Lynn Tyndall, of Westford, MA. Her final years were happy, and she continued to remain active and involved in her Nashoba Park Assisted Living community until contracting COVID.

Pat is survived by her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. A private celebration of life will be held by her family in the coming days. In lieu of condolences, the family asks that you spend time with the ones you love. Nothing was more important to Pat than her family.

A Private Celebration of her Life will be held by her family
