Patty, Lori, Rick and Kathy - such profound sadness here. I absolutely loved your mom. She was one of a kind (she DEFINITELY broke the mold!) and will be sorely missed. I know this has left a huge whole in your hearts and many others as well. Warm hugs to you all and your families.

Our deepest condolences to you Patti and all of Aline's entire family. She was so proud of you all. She was especially sure to share some of the many amazing precocious accomplishments of "her Ava" with her poker pals. Ava will always retain the blessing of her Memere's eternal love wherever she goes.
Aline happily hosted poker games for some of her senior friends and neighbors twice weekly for many years. What she seemed to enjoy most were the situations when a hand left her head-to-head with Tony. Aline's keen poker skills, more often than not, usually won her those heavily-strategized chips. When she carefully collected them, it somehow brought a particularly satisfied smile across her previously perfectly stoic "Poker Face".
Those games will never be the same without her.

Patty, Lori, Rick, and Kathy--Aline was an amazing woman and cousin. She carted us around as kids to give us a good time, and I'll always remember our childhood fun with you all. She maintained the family bond even years after we moved to Maine. I love you all and keep you in my prayers. Losing a mother is a loss like no other.
Love, Priscilla
